With muscular proportions and massive power, the BMW M8 2020 is a bully among boulevard cruises. This bimmer is based on the regular BMW 8 series, both are available as coupe and convertible. The 2020 M8 lineup is expected to be launched this summer, with prices starting at $ 133,995 for the coupe and increasing significantly in convertible and racing models. If you have a penchant for performance, the new BMW M8 is the sporty counterpoint for the still sporty but softer BMW 8 Series coupe.
Base $ 133.000
Competition Coupe $ 146.000
Interior and Technology
As with most BMW M cars, the interior design and passenger space are practically identical to regular models. The BMW M8 2020 is no different. Your cabin will provide plenty of space in advance, as well as elegant content, such as a digital instrument panel and an easy-to-use infotainment system. Although we have not seen a final version of the interior of the M8, our time with the BMW M850i coupe and its convertible equivalent ensure that hot rod models will have sumptuous materials and extravagant features.
Engine, ride and handling
The M8 will be powered by a 4.4-liter V-8 dual-turbocharger, which also motivates the BMW M5. The Standard M8 engine produces 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, while the Competition model manufactures another 17 ponies (617 HP in total). This high-performance model also receives a firmer suspension, a sportier exhaust system, a unique driving mode and unique wheels. Each M8 will also use an eight-speed automatic transmission to handle gear changes. The M8’s four-wheel drive system features a rear-wheel drive mode that is perfect for kicking the tail and skidding around the corners. BMW says it has simplified the M8 drive mode settings and has also announced that the car will feature a new braking system with adjustable pedal feel.
