These expectations are pure speculation, and we will have to wait until the Bavarian automaker publishes more details, but this is what we know so far.
There is more that we don’t know about the next generation 2021 BMW M4 than we do. Based on the company’s over-the-top Concept 4, as well as spy photos of it testing at the N’rburgring and hiding its open grille, the latest Series 4 should be more expressive and powerful than the model it replaces.

Interior, Comfort and Cargo
The outgoing M4 and everyone who came before shared an interior design and many features with the more conventional BMW 4-series. Rumors seem to indicate that the BMW M4 2021 will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. Since this is most likely the same powerplant found in the BMW X3 M and X4 M crossovers, we expect the M4 to make 473 horsepower (503 on models with the Competition package) and 442 pound-feet of torque. . That power will likely be rated through an eight-speed automatic transmission or, finger-crossed, an available manual gearbox. The M4 must also offer four-wheel or rear-wheel drive.
